We take photos of things that inspire us. Things that we think look good in everyday life and will translate well to film. Our photography captures small sections of reality and isolates those moments from the moments preceding and following that particular instant. Not all of the images we make will resonate with everyone but we hope that some will. The stories that surround these captured moments are left up to the viewer. We have our own stories for them and our own personal connections. A viewer will find different stories and connections to their own life. That is what makes a photo memorable. Photography is not made by the photographer. It’s made by the viewer. The photographer is merely a means of transportation for the photo to come to the viewer. The viewer makes the photo what it is.
